Building community, strengthening lives.
The volunteers truly made the program what it is—from loving my kids, delicious meals, helping my daughter with homework so I could tend to the babies and little extras.

your help is needed

Volunteers provide meals, play with children, help with homework, and stay overnight. They interact with guests, treating them with respect and responding with compassion. Volunteers also assist in the office and Day Center as well with program operations and fundraising. We appreciate you sharing whatever time you can.

Ways to Volunteer

Many of our volunteers are based at the local congregations that host our families for one week at a time on a rotating schedule, but we have many ways you can be involved and make a difference.

If you would like to offer your skills, heart, and support directly to the families in the shelter program, we can give you a simple orientation/training and conduct a background check, then have you on a list to help "when needed" at the various congregation locations.

You may contact us directly using the form below or reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator at your local congregation.
